NUDAY SYRIA

Gators for Refugee Medical Relief is elated to announce our collaboration with Nuday Syria, a nonprofit organization that works towards empowering women and children in Syria. Since 2013, Nuday Syria has provided medical aid, water, nutrition, educational initiatives, and empowering work opportunities to those in need in Syria as they endure a massive humanitarian crisis. This Spring semester, GRMR will be raising funds that will go towards sponsoring an orphaned refugee child in Syria. This sponsorship will provide vital resources that he or she will need in order to learn, grow, and prosper. Along with sponsoring a child, our monetary contributions will also go towards supporting various healthcare clinics located in Syria, including a pediatric and maternity clinic.

Orphan sponsorship

GRMR is so happy to share with you the child we will be sponsoring through Nuday Syria! His name is Abdulhadi Mohammad and he is 5 years old. Abdulhadi lost his father to shellings in November 2014, leaving him behind with his mother. The family has been faced with internal displacement, forcing them to leave their belongings and relocate to an apartment in a small village on the countryside of Syria called Idlib. With the death of his father means the loss of the family’s primary source of income. This sponsorship will ensure Abdulhadi will have a warm blanket to sleep with and proper nutrition.
